



It would be reasonable to state that modernism and postmodernism have created a number of possibilities regarding the structure and functioning of the various forms of organisations.
Societies, in the first instance, have allowed the development and formation of a variety of moral and ethical organisations throughout the passage of time.
Nevertheless, one should not ignore, and, must indeed question whether the contributions made by these organizations – private or public – have ultimately resulted in significant benefits to the well being of society as a whole.
There are no doubt many required paths and wherewithal in order to satisfy the needs and expectations of the Latin American society. Notwithstanding, academia and enterprise stand out as the two fundamental pillars for development, economic growth and social justice. On the one hand, academia generating knowledge and competencies, on the other, enterprise promoting and encouraging business activities.
Within these premises, Universidad del Pacifico in general and the Escuela de Negocios y Economia in particular, cordially extends an invitation to participate in the XLIV CLADEA ANNUAL ASSEMBLY 2009.
