Double Degree Programs

Students from some of the universities we hold agreements with, have the chance to earn Universidad Del Pacifico’s  Bachelor of Science,  Bachelor of Arts, or  Master degrees as well as the ones from their home universities when they join any of our Double Degree Programs.  This one-year program gives students of both universities involved, the chance to view the world from two different cultural perspectives, enhancing their university experience.

Application

Partner universities will nominate their candidates and forward to us their nominees´ CV, transcripts, and letters of recommendation.  Freemovers may fill out and send us the two forms found under http://www.upacifico.edu.ec/Templates/Extranjeros.html addressed to International Relations either via fax or e-mail (see contact information below).

Deadlines

Students can apply for exchange trimesters at Universidad Del Pacifico Ecuador before the following dates:

January-March	September 15th
April-June	December 15th
July-September	March 15th
October-December	June 15th

CAMPUSES

Universidad Del Pacifico Ecuador has three campuses:

Quito and Cuenca are in the Andes, and Guayaquil on the Coast.  The Andes region has a different academic calendar from the Coast region.  Exchange students can benefit from our intensive terms, meeting their academic needs while still being able to tour the country.

Exchange students and freemovers  (both undergraduate and graduate) can join our programs at the beginning of any trimester, provided they apply at least three months in advance.
REQUIREMENTS
Academic requirements for exchange students:

• Take a minimum of 3 courses per trimester (9 credits)
• Knowledge of Spanish language (most courses are taught in Spanish).  In 2009 we will start a 100% English undergraduate business program.
